We have added a gallery of Home Made Card by Jill Hiatt to our website.

When Jill told us she gave all her profits to charity, we thought it only fair to offer her some advertising space.  She supports Water Aid, a charity that works in 17 countries providing water, sanitation and hygiene education to some of the world’s poorest people.

This is what Jill told us:

“I have made several thousand cards so far, mostly this size unless special requests.  I make almost any card from blank, birthdays, Christmas, sympathy, think of you, new home, get well soon, various anniversaries and new babies etc.  I have lots in stock.

All cards come with blank inserts for own message, envelopes and poly bags.  I sell them at £1 each with all the profit going to WaterAid.  I also support a Children’s Hospice in Oxfordshire who sell my cards in their shops”.

She has opted to advertise her cards through our site, adding just £1 for postage.  Fantastic value!  You would be struggling to find a mass produced card for that kind of price and think of the benefits of a High Quality, Homemade card instead.

We’ve finally managed to get all our new products uploaded to the site.  This has taken far longer than we hoped but we got there in the end!  We now have several new sections including Card Blanks and Envelopes from Mulberry,  a large collection of Bows and Butterflies and a range of over 50 styles of Skeleton Leaves.

We noticed that embellishments are often sold in large packs or selections.  This seemed a little unfair since you could easily end up buying more than you need or be forced to buy something you don’t want.

We are offering all these items individually.  Most are only a few pence each, so you can afford a selection but you have full control over the selection you buy!!

Regular visitors will realise that we have been adding even more stock over the past week.  We should get this process finished over the weekend, so not much longer!!  Just to let you know, we have not yet listed a selection of ‘Skeleton Leaves’ that came with our Mulberry Paper.  There is a vast selection of these and we intend to sell them in the same way as the bows.  Individually!!

All of these products are very low cost (some only 2 or 3 pence each).  However, we thought it better that we allow you the choice of exactly what you want to buy, rather than putting them in packs where you may have to buy something you don’t want.  Of course, this means each leaf (or bow) has to have it’s own entry in the store and this takes time!

Once we have listed everything, we will improve on the descriptions.  This will include the actual sizes of the bows and leaves listed.  In the meantime, if you see something you like, ask us the size before you buy.  We don’t want you getting something you weren’t expecting!!

We recieved the first of our new orders this week and managed to get it up on the website today. The main items we’re excited about is a range of new Blank Cards with Matching Envelopes. We had the option of selling these in packs of 5 or 10, but opted to offer them individually. This way everyone can decide on the number they need and the colours that suit.

Two ranges are available. The first is a quality ‘plain’ card in a choice of 7 colours. The second a more special ‘Pearlised’ card in a choice of 5 colours. Each card is supplied with a matching Envelope.

Of course, you also have the option to purchase a selection of colours rather than being forsed to buy more cards than you need!

We also have a new range of Adhesive products. Featured in their own new section, we have a selection of Double Sided Sticky Tapes and Sticky Pads. We’re also offering Glue Spots for the jobs the Sticky Pads don’t suit.

We’ve just placed a couple of HUGE orders with a couple of new suppliers.  These should be arriving later this week, so we should have it up on the site very soon.

These orders include Paper, Card Blanks and envelopes as well as a MASSIVE range of embellishments.  There really is a vast new range of stock, so it will take us a little time to get it all up.
